New Minimum Wage for Federal Contractors
Attention federal contractors: Effective January 30, 2022 the minimum wage for employees working on federal contracts will increase to $15 per hour. Federal contractors must have the new minimum wage implemented into new contracts by March 30, 2022. New VEVRAA Hiring Benchmark for 2021
OFCCP has announced that the new VEVRAA hiring benchmark will be 5.6%, effective March 31, 2021. As a reminder, the hiring benchmark is the percentage of total hires who are protected veterans that the contractor seeks to hire in the next AAP year.

EEO-1 Data Collection Begins April 26, 2021
Attention employers: The EEOC has announced that EEO-1 data collection will begin on Monday, April 26, 2021. Employers should be prepared to submit Component 1 data for 2019 and 2020. Is Affirmative Action Plan Verification Still in the Works?
