New Federal DEI Executive Order 14398
The Executive Order titled “Addressing DEI Discrimination by Federal Contractors” establishes new compliance obligations affecting federal contractors and subcontractors. Beginning April 25, 2026, all new federal contracts and contract modifications must include a clause prohibiting certain DEI-related activities.

The VETS-4212 portal is now open, and reports must be filed by September 30. If you are a federal contractor or subcontractor, it is likely that you are required to file this report. It is best to start this process early, in case there are any issues with accessing the VETS-4212 Reporting Application. EEO-1 PORTAL OPENING PUSHED TO FALL 2023
The EEOC released an update stating that “the EEOC has updated the tentative opening of the 2022 EEO-1 Component 1 data collection to the Fall of 2023 .” The previous projected opening date was in mid-July of 2023. We will post an update once the EEOC announces the final opening date.

EEOC Releases New Technical Assistance Document on Artificial Intelligence and Employment Decisions
