EEO-1 Reporting Portal Still Closed Despite Upcoming March 30 Deadline

Updated: Jun 24, 2020

The deadline for companies to file their 2019 EEO-1 reports is near, but the portal is not open. The EEOC is still waiting for approval from the Office of Management and Budget to disconnect from the previous year’s Component 2 data, and to collect only Component 1 race and gender data for 2019, 2020, and 2021. The opening date for the portal, as well as the new deadline date, will be announced via a posting on the EEOC website and notification letters to eligible EEO-1 filers. We will also post that information here once it is available.
